A.-INTRODUCTION TO METAVERSES

1.-METAVERSES: MEANING AND CONTENTS

1.1.- ETYMOLOGIC MEANING OF METAVERSE: from the Greek meta: beyond / and from the Latin verse: apocope of universe. Therefore, our MPR metaverses (by the reality principle, as opposed to the MPP metaverses, by the pleasure principle, in Freud's terminology) mean: "content that transcends the traditional and basic vision or treatment of a theme").

1.2.-PURPOSES. a) 'Increase the transversal or interdisciplinary reality' of the topic of a microcourse through categories of entities, which, being digitized, can be associated with microcourses by affinity with their subject, enriching at the same time the subject of study with new perspectives and entities associated with academic interest. b) Some of such associated entities can provide 3D images or videos of their products and services (e.g. companies) or of themselves (e.g. patents, applications...), which, made available to students through their connection to the Internet of Things, will form a virtual laboratory (v.) for each microcourse, which will enable the achievement of unprecedented levels of R+D+i (v.).

1.3.-CLASSES. a) The categories of MPR entities or metaverses that these microcourses have may increase in number as the global digitization process grows. b) The digitization of everything that can be digitized currently underway will increase, above all the number of entities in each category or metaverse, especially in countries where, given their low level of digitization, certain categories are not yet found, or if there are They have very few entities.

1.4.-GAMIFICATION. Each category of the metaverses of each microcourse will be gamified for the organization of competitions and doculeagues(try clicking on Games).

1.5.-ENRICHMENT.- Each category with samples related to the theme of a course is an enriching metaverse of the same; categories or metaverses followed by a zero-0-do not yet have such samples

1.6.-DUAL BENEFITS. A characteristic of all the categories of metaverses is that both the entities that make up each category, whether people or things, as well as the students with the right to know, study or use them, benefit; the former will benefit in terms of notoriety, prestige, publicity, the latter in terms of learning, research, innovation, development...

1.7.-ORIGIN AND DENOMINATION. Before the boom of the metaverse, arose in October 2021 by decision of Facebook, Docuplay had been producing them `avant la lettre´ with the name of complementary files for several years, as can be seen in the great program 4, of 55,000 courses, by clicking on the title of each course to see the CONTENT SECTORS page, with search engines with three types of files: downloadable, linkable and complementary. The first two groups serve mainly for a 'vertical' or in-depth study of the subject matter of the course, the third for a 'horizontal', cross-sectional or interdisciplinary study. This third type of content constitutes the augmented or extended reality of each microcourse and, after the METAVERSE phenomenon appeared, Docuplay went on to call such reality with this name, specifying that it is MPR (metaverse by the reality principle) and not MPP (metaverse for the pleasure principle), since the MPR broaden the perspectives on the subject of the microcourses and serve as the basis for the virtual laboratory of each one of them. In the new courses menu, the metaverses become a separate sector from the files.

1.8.- EDUCATIONAL MODEL T. Thanks to metaverses, Docuplay puts into practice an education in T format, in which the vertical bar symbolizes the explanatory theoretical subjects of the object of the course and the horizontal bar the complementary or transversal subjects that give a much broader perspective of the course, including the experimentation and production.

1.9.-CONSEQUENTLY, Docuplay provides its content sectors or files in all DES (Docuplay educational system) courses to delve into the subject (vertical bar), complemented with other files that provide a transversal, horizontal or interdisciplinary perspective (horizontal bar). Among these, the sectors of content on companies, personalities, products and services, patents, applications... that are relevant to the object of the course stand out. Much of such content can also be contributed by students, teachers and companies themselves, registering it as subservices relevant to their course. (See B2.-COLLABORATIONS: the possibility of inscription by several agents of various categories of metaverses. For example, in the 2.Economic Service, the categories of products, services, patents and applications; in the 3. Social Service, the categories of personalities, institutions and groups; in the 4. Informative Services, the category of report etc.

2.-NEED TO DISTINGUISH TWO TYPES OF METAVERSES

Currently, it is necessary to distinguish between two types of metaverses: those in which Augmented Reality (AR) predominates and those that are predominantly based on Virtual or Fictional Reality (VR).

2.1.-TWO CONCEPTIONS OF HUMAN EXISTENCE

The two previous types can be deeply explained by resorting to the famous Freudian theory (**) of the two principles that rule, in general, human existence, the reality principle and the pleasure principle. Depending on which of the two principles predominate in the metaverses, we would have MPR and MPP metaverses.

The metaverses that have been talked about so insistently for months, especially since the day that Facebook announced its name change to Meta and its change of focus towards metaverses, in which it announces annual investments of ten billion, more the hiring of ten thousand technicians, can be considered governed by the principle of pleasure. While the MPR (Metaverses based on the reality principle) advocated by Docuplay clearly opt for the reality principle. However, seen several thousands of books  on Amazon Kindle using as title the word metaverse or its idiomatic variants, very few appear with the word education or equivalent. The titles are accompanied by abundant subtitles detailing the content of each book, with an overwhelming predominance of cryptocurrencies. But not even among such subtitles appear words related to education: training, teacher, professor etc. Therefore, from a competitive point of view the advantages of betting heavily on MPRs are obvious when there is an avalanche of bets on MPPs (Metaverses based on the Pleasure Principle). In other words, in the MPR there is no competition.

2.2.-METAVERS AND WESTERN CIVILIZATION

If the MPP come to predominate over the MPR, a series of damages would be produced for the Western world.

-Given the lack of an academic and didactic approach, the MPP will not contribute anything to the progress of education, science and technology.

-This neglect or underestimation of the academic and educational aspect of the PPMs can lead in a short time to the Western world losing its ancient leadership in thought (Greek philosophy, Roman law), science and technology.

-The weakening of the West in the field of ideas, especially in science and technology, will allow the thriving Asian countries to culminate their humanistic, scientific and technological leadership.

2.3.-ADVANTAGES OF THE MPR

Docuplay's metaverses (faithful to the Freudian reality principle) are made up of the synergy of two human activities, the educational-training-investigative and the productive-competitive. Hence the acronym MEFIPS or Educational-Training-Investigative Metaverses—Productive, Sustainable. While the other kind of metaverses, followers of the Freudian pleasure principle, could be called MOPEII (Idle, Pleasurable, Speculative, Unproductive, Unsustainable Metaverses).

Obviously, these qualifiers do not have an absolute value, but relative or comparative. Thus, for example, the MEFIPS contain leisure and pleasure in the form of docugames, while it is not denied that the main characteristic of the MOPEII, the speculative activities with a large number of virtual currencies, etc. , may have some socioeconomic utility.

Of the two synergistic phases that will integrate the MPR, the first will consist of Education, Training and Research and the second in Sustainable Production and competitions. Well, educational synergy... can be compared to the artillery of an army whose cannons (the 663 microcourses resulting from the breakdown of the 17 goals and 169 objectives of the 2030 Agenda), already loaded with excellent ammunition (the contents), are already well prepared for battle, but still unable to go into action due to lack of productive synergy. Phase that will consist of installing in each cannon the devices that allow a gunner to aim the cannon and shoot it correctly to obtain the best results.

While virtual realities VR F. VIRTUAL REALITY predominate in MPPs, MPRs are enriched with augmented realities B. AUGMENTED REALITY , which give topics a transversal dimension, transcending the verticality of the academic dimension (this is precisely the meaning etymological metaverse, which transcends the usual universe of each thing, activity, matter, etc.). Such RA augmented realities can be seen at level 1 of access to each microcourse, line 2.

3.- PROMOTION OF SOME MPR METAVERSES THROUGH INTERNET COMPETITIONS

The metaverses may be the main means of promoting the CIDIOAOs both in the Iberophonic block and in the European one. Thanks to several technologies for videoconferences (ZOOM, Jitsi, Google Meet...), Docuplay will promote the frequent celebration of competitions by videoconference of the students subscribed to each course.

For example, platforms as Zoom, Jitsi and alike allow many participants in the same video conference. These would appear on the screen playing with a datapiece on one of the metaverses of the course (companies, personalities, patents, works, museums, etc.). At the end of the session, the ranking of all the participants will appear according to the points obtained.

It is important that there are prizes for the top three in the ranking, which can consist of medals (gold, silver, bronze...) or cash. These prizes will be financed with the contributions of the entities of the metaverses, in compensation to Docuplay for the great publicity that appearing in them means for them. Advertising that is much more positive in the case of companies, since they will be able to promote their products and services, and even sell them from the metaverse itself.

It is expected that this system of `online videoconferencing metaverses' can achieve several large-scale results: Attracting subscribers, especially young people, to the CIDIOAOs; large number of spectators; Income contributed by the entities benefited in the metaverses, especially companies; visibility for the SDGs and promotion of their development, etc.

B.-PRESENTATION OF THE MAIN CATEGORIES OF METAVERSES

1.-COMPANIES

Companies are the most important category of metaverses.

a) Each company will register 3D images of its products and videos of its services.

b) Such 3D and videos will be connected to the Internet of Things (IoT),

will form a kind of virtual and progressive laboratory

for the practical-experimental education of the students of the microcourse.

c) As a result of said practical-experimental education,

an R+D+i (Research+Development+innovation), basic for the creation

of CIPs (Pentaface Industrial Centers) and Industry 4.0.

In addition to displaying their products and services, applications and patents in their metaverse category, companies will be able to register them as subservices in various subservices of the Docuplay B2 resource. COLLABORATIONS, 2.Economic Service, which will provide a triple benefit: to the students, to the development of the objective of the course and to the company itself.

2.-GROUPS. ASSOCIATIONS

With this subservice, Docuplay will promote the registration of related institutions and groups for each course. Like other subservices, these also constitute a category of metaverses, which can be very beneficial to students and to the development of the course objective. (See B2. COLLABORATIONS, 3. 3.-STATISTICS

It is evident that the statistical periodicals of many countries, which tend to cover a wide thematic spectrum, add a useful and cross-cutting overview to the knowledge provided by a course. In addition, they work especially well as bases for docugames and doculeagues. That is why Docuplay already includes important statistical series among its metaverse categories, such as those from the CIA and Eurostat, which also serve as the basis for docucompetitions and doculeagues.

4.-E.PATENTS

Patents constitute a category of metaverses that can be very useful for the practical-experimental training of companies with their products. Just as these can benefit a lot by showing their products and services in their metaverse and with this they can also benefit students a lot in the practical-experimental aspect of the subject of their course, in a similar way the authors of patents will generate benefits for both parties by exposing them in his metaverse. In addition, both business products and services and patents, in a 3D version and connected to the Internet of Things, can be used to form specialized virtual laboratories used at any time and place by students.

5.-APPLICATIONS

With this subservice for the registration of applications, Docuplay aspires to promote, in the tertiary degree (T) of its educational services, the programming of applications. All higher level students should be able to at least conceive and clearly write the script of an application useful for the activity related to the course and suitable for a developer or computer technician to translate it from analogue to digital language. Only in this way will the employability of students and the socio-economic prosperity of their environment be enhanced at the same time. With this subservice, Docuplay will take advantage of new technologies such as the Internet of Things, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Big Data, etc. in its courses.
