A. What each festival consists of
1. The festivals organized by Docuplay for the 250th anniversary of the USA are based on two thematic themes: 1. The history of American society, and 2. Contemporary American society. Each festival consists of a synthesis of four essential elements:
a) textual content on a topic of interest about the United States;
b) creation of songs through the musical setting and interpretation by AI of a portion of said content;
c) illustration of each song with an image of high informational value;
d) creation of a contest for performers of these songs, whose ranking will be based on audience votes. Most of these festivals may have a state and a federal phase, although not all states will be able to participate due to a lack of songs with their own theme.
2. Each song can be downloaded and can also be printed as a memorial or souvenir, with side A for the illustration and QR code and side B for the introduction and lyrics of each song.
B. How to Register as a Performer for Each Festival
1. Register on the Docuplay Form in the Independent or Freelance category.
2. Go to the Festival’s Song Performers Competition table and navigate to the row for the song you performed.
3. Register the audio file of your performance by clicking the “Register your interpretation” link.
3.1. The performance file name must consist of the performer’s ID and the song title, separated by a period.
3.2. The performance must include the entire text.
3.3. The audio file format must be JPG, and its size in MB cannot exceed the size of the original audio file by more than 20%.
4. Each performer, individual or group, may only register one performance per song.
5. Docuplay will not register any performance from an individual or representative who does not have an ID resulting from their Docuplay subscription as an independent or freelance student.
C. How to Vote for Performances at Each Festival
1. Register on the Docuplay Form in the Independent or Freelance category. (Note to Julio regarding the form)
2. Go to the Song Performers Competition table and navigate to the row of the song that already has performances.
3. Click on the Vote box and choose a number between 0 and 3.
4. You can only vote once for each performance.
5. Docuplay will tally the number of votes and voters for each anthem to determine the winning performances at the end of each Festival of the Bible period.
D. How to Sponsor Songs at Each Festival
1. Companies interested in sponsoring one or more songs at each festival, in agreement with Docuplay, should notify Docuplay by email and send their company logo. 2. The logo will be displayed at the top of the text for each sponsored song whenever a user views it to listen to the sung version.
3. After the festival, Docuplay will notify each sponsor of the number of views and the total hours their logo was displayed on screen.
E. How the performer rankings are established in each festival
1. Docuplay, thanks to the performers’ subscriptions via the independent or freelance student form and the audience votes, will rank them in various types of rankings.
2. There may be prizes for the three performers with the most votes in the state phase.
3. In some festivals, there may be a national phase, in which the top winners from the state phase will participate.
4. Sponsors may offer the winners prizes in kind or in cash.
